Miranda Currie is a First Nations writer that has always loved the outdoor life and teaching! She has earned degrees in Outdoor Recreation and a B.Ed in Outdoor Education, which helped her put enough words together to write this book! She lives in Yellowknife in a small cabin on the shores of the Great Slave Lake with her sled dog Kenzie.

Alison McCreesh is a cartoonist, artist and illustrator who lives and makes art in Yellowknife’s Old Town. Before falling in love with the North and moving to Yellowknife, Alison lived and studied in Quebec. When she’s not busy drawing, Alison likes to go for long walks, cross-country ski and play with her dog Ninja.
